All-American at the University of Arizona in metropolis and an Olympic gold medalist. Before becoming the most famous softball player of all instances Finch excelled in sports at La Mirada High School on the eastern border of Los Angeles County. In the 2004 Olympics in Sydney, Australia Finch helped the United States team lie the competition and cruise to a gold medal.
